Live2Lead Pompano Beach Returns: Leadership, Empowerment, and Local Impact with Ana Sasmiresan

For years, Ana Sasmiresan felt a quiet, persistent calling—a purpose that pulsed deeper than routine, louder than comfort. It wasn’t sudden, like a lightning bolt of realization, but more like a sunrise—gradual, radiant, and impossible to ignore. She saw the potential hiding in everyday people, just waiting for someone to ignite it. Ana stepped into spaces where voices needed amplifying, where leadership wasn’t just about titles, but about presence, empathy, and vision. She became what she often searched for—an activator. Someone who doesn’t just talk about change, but builds it, breathes life into it, and shares it generously with others.

“I realized we all have so much more potential than what we’re using,” said Sasmiresan. “I wanted to become an activator for people because it’s a meaningful connection to community. John Maxwell of Maxwell Leadership told me that I have to start hosting Live2Lead because it’ll be an event that’ll bring the best for the community and that’s what we’re here to do.”

Originally from Romania, Ana Sasmiresan’s story began across the Atlantic, where her roots were grounded in resilience, hard work, and a deep respect for community. In 2001, she took a courageous leap—leaving behind the familiar to begin a new chapter in the United States, guided by ambition, optimism, and the quiet certainty that her story had only just begun.

When Ana Sasmiresan first set foot in the U.S., she didn’t walk into a corner office—she stepped into possibility. Shortly after immigrating to the U.S., in an entry-level position and steadily advanced through varied leadership roles.

Over the next two decades, she climbed the corporate ladder not by skipping steps, but by mastering each one. Today, with 20 years of industry insight and leadership savvy under her belt, Ana is the powerhouse Vice President for Randstad’s South & North Florida region. She now leads dynamic recruiting and staffing operations, crafting people-powered strategies that fuel business growth—and proving that when you blend heart with hustle, the sky isn’t the limit, it’s just the starting line.

In 2011, she left California for a new journey that brought her to South Florida, a place where her calling would take root and begin to flourish. With her warm presence and natural ability to connect, she became more than just a professional—she became a bridge-builder.

Someone who empowers others to take action, rise into their potential, and spark change in their own lives and communities. Over the years, Ana discovered that authentic dialogue has the power to shift perspectives, open hearts, and unlock the best in people. These conversations—whether one-on-one coffee chats, quiet mentorship moments, or community dialogues—transformed her from within.

“I always believed in building success,” said Sasmiresan. “And it starts with relationships. I’ve spoken with leaders all over the world who’ve built success through their values and developing more leaders.”

She learned that true leadership begins with listening. With asking the right questions. With being present. It was through these deeply human interactions that Ana not only helped others grow but also experienced her own evolution. These moments became her compass, guiding her toward her purpose with clarity and conviction. Her transformation through conversations became her fuel to keep showing up, speaking up, and lifting others.

This vision led Ana to host Live2Lead, a powerful event that blends leadership development, inspiration, and connection. For Ana, Live2Lead isn’t about the spotlight—it’s about planting seeds. It’s about creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and encouraged to lead with heart, courage, and authenticity.

“This year’s Live2Lead Pompano Beach theme is The Culture Edge,” said Sasmiresan. “It’s defining what is the culture edge in your organization, which means your company, your family, your community, and learning how to build a thriving culture that creates the type of team that can produce remarkable results.”

Step into the electrifying atmosphere of Live2Lead, where the room buzzes with energy, purpose, and possibility. Picture a space filled wall-to-wall with passionate professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders—all leaning in, fully engaged, and eager to grow. The air is charged with inspiration as world-class speakers take the stage, each delivering powerful messages that are informative, encouraging, and deeply transformative.

“We have three keynote speakers this year,” said Sasmiresan. “Vince Giordano of Hog Technologies, Dr. Randy Ross of Remarkable and GoodAction, and leadership comedian Jody Fuller, who is a retired U.S. Army Major.”

From actionable leadership strategies to soul-stirring stories of resilience, every moment is designed to spark personal growth and professional impact. Whether you’re a business owner, team leader, or dreamer with a vision, Live2Lead is more than an event—it’s an experience that fuels your drive, expands your mindset, and connects you with a community that believes in rising together.

“We also have the Executive Panel with Justin Montes of DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, Rita Case of Rick Case Automotive Group, Dr. Gordon Chen of ThriveWell and ChenMed and Kim Sarni of SFBW and Lifestyle Media,” said Sasmiresan. “We will engage in a discussion around culture, focusing on understanding how they built their success with significance. We are including emerging speakers as well, because I want to use Live2Lead as a platform to give people a voice who may have never spoken from a stage before.”

“I must mention our Future Leaders Track for youth 15-21” said Sasmiresan. “This is the second year we are inviting our community youth to Live2Lead, and they will have carefully curated youth leadership sessions with Jonathan Taylor of Youth Impact Centers.”

But what truly sets Live2Lead apart is the way it brings people together. Through shared learning, thought-provoking discussions, and purposeful networking, strangers become collaborators, peers become partners, and ideas turn into action plans. The event cultivates a powerful sense of community—a tribe of like-minded individuals committed to growing themselves and uplifting others.

“This is the third annual Live2Lead Pompano Beach and it’s grown every year,” said Sasmiresan. “People who’ve attended the first one, have come back a second time, and now a third. I invite speaker-leaders who align with what the theme is. People who share true stories and not just concepts. Previous attendees have told me that when they leave this event, they feel like they are a better person at home and at work.”

With support from esteemed sponsors and partners such as Pompano Beach Arts, the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, BLU by ThriveWell, Atlas Clinics, Miraggio Italian Grill, Chick-fil-A Pompano Beach, and others who believe in leadership and transformation, Live2Lead is also a celebration of local collaboration. Even more, the event proudly benefits Kiwanis of Pompano Beach, extending its impact by supporting youth, service projects, and positive change within the community.

“We have participants from Stuart all the way to Miami,” said Sasmiresan. “We have limited space and have 150 participants this year and 25 youths in addition to that. I call it a leadership party where we dance with our mindsets.”

Ana Sasmiresan extends her commitment to community empowerment as a dedicated Director on the Board for the HabCenter of Boca Raton. Driven by a profound passion, she actively contributes to the development of programs specifically designed to empower individuals with disabilities, fostering their ability to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Her work with the HabCenter underscores her belief in creating opportunities and resources that enable every individual to reach their full potential.

Through every initiative, Ana Sasmiresan reminds us that leadership is not a title—it’s a calling to uplift, unite, and ignite the best in ourselves and those around us.
