A Charcuterie Board of Comedy: Brittany Brave Brings Miami’s Funniest Together

Brittany Brave is the perfect blend of New York grit and Miami heat. A powerhouse comedian, writer, producer, and host who’s taking the stage by storm. From the sunshine of South Florida to the bright lights of the Big Apple, Brave packed up her punchlines and headed to New York.

Her fearless, quick-witted humor and unfiltered charm have landed her spots on NBC, MTV, OFTV, The Wendy Williams Show, and SiriusXM, making her one of the most exciting voices in comedy today.

Her sharp comedic timing and bold storytelling have earned her major recognition, including being named a 2024 “Comic To Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival. Just a year earlier, TimeOut Miami and the Miami New Times crowned her “Best Comedy Act,” and TBS highlighted her as “Emerging Talent” back in 2019.

Whether she’s on stage, on screen, or behind the mic, Brittany Brave delivers the kind of comedy that’s equal parts relatable, raw, and electric, proof that the road from Miami to Manhattan is paved with laughter.

With accolades piling up and her comedic voice only growing sharper, Brave set her sights on telling a bigger story — one about where it all began.

In late 2022, she conceived the film project Muchacha, born out of her return home and the realization that Miami’s comedy scene was ripe yet under-celebrated. Through live stand-up tapings, in-depth interviews, and behind-the-scenes access, this deeply personal and gritty documentary-style film seeks to shine a light on local storytellers and to ask: if the industry won’t come to the 305, why not bring the spotlight straight here?

Now, Miami’s comedy scene is about to serve up something delicious, and it’s not just the drink specials. On Sunday, November 16, NYC-via-Miami comedian, actress, writer, and producer Brittany Brave is returning to her roots to produce the Best of Miami Comedy Showcase at the Miami Improv, and it’ll be a laugh-packed double feature with shows at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“Think of it as the ultimate charcuterie board of comedy,” said Brave.

A platter piled high with Miami’s finest funny voices, from legendary stand-ups like Ricky Cruz, Luis Diaz, Eli Rodriguez, El Caballo, Nery Saenz, and Carlos Hernandez, to a fresh wave of emerging comics redefining the 305’s humor scene.

Brave calls it a celebration of “anyone and everyone who’s had an impact on Miami comedy,” and the night promises to be a true family reunion of punchlines, perspectives, and pure talent.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, both shows will feature a sneak peek of Muchacha. Brave’s heartfelt, in-the-works documentary spotlighting Miami’s thriving but often overlooked comedy community. The film, which recently surpassed its crowdfunding goal by 130%, is currently in post-production with producers from HBO and Netflix on board and early festival interest for 2026. Every ticket sold and every laugh shared at the showcase will help bring Muchacha closer to completion — with all door proceeds supporting the film’s production.

Guests can also expect custom drink specials, surprises, and a night overflowing with energy, love, and laughter. It’s more than a showcase — it’s a moment. A chance to see Miami’s comedy scene, past and present, come together under one spotlight, all thanks to the creative force that is Brittany Brave.
