Zachary William, Illustrator for Our South Florida (Created Our Logo) – Long story short, I’m an illustrator residing in my home town of Sunrise, Florida. I was born and raised in Broward until I took four years of college at SCAD for a BFA in illustration. Before I left home, I became an advanced art student yet active in other things in high school like four years of football, three years of wrestling, JROTC, and a bit of theatre. I’m obviously a very involved person so I’m relieved as a homebred young professional to see our community finally get its recognition. I’ll probably get a 954 tattoo someday lol! My long term goal is to offer the service of my gift to create. I am currently painting mural commissions, graphic design for local businesses, and some self promoted art. Short term goal is to get the crib vibing again after a rough 4 years! LG!

Michael Sommer, Real Estate Coverage for Our South Florida – Michael Sommer was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, right outside of the city of Philadelphia, but since the age of 2, he has been a local resident of South Florida, primarily in Broward County. He grew up in Coral Springs and left in 2018 to attend the University of Florida, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Sport Management. During his time at UF, he was heavily involved in various professional organizations on campus, including the Florida Leadership Academy, the most prestigious undergraduate business organization at UF, as well as the Leadership Development Program and Theta Chi Fraternity. He made it a priority to give back to his peers and community, seen through his fundraisers raising over $10,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network through the Dance Marathon organization, and even taking time to volunteer at local community non-profits such as the Salvation Army. Perhaps Michael’s most impactful moment during his time in college was when he was introduced to The Southwestern Advantage sales program. During his three summers with the company, he worked 84 hours a week, learned how to run his own business effectively, and was a constant positive spark to his fellow team members. This intense, direct sales program instilled a strong work ethic and immensely increased his emotional intelligence. Most importantly, it taught Michael how to communicate effectively and put his customers’ needs above his own. Michael, feeling like it was time to try something new, jumped headfirst into the Real Estate world with Southwestern Real Estate back in the summer of 2023! As he began this new journey, he made it clear that he wants to not only serve his clients with a drama-free real estate experience, but that he eventually wants to build a team of competent and considerate real estate professionals around him. Beyond the workplace, he hopes to be a role model for his younger generation through his constant pursuit to make those small sacrifices now to reach his long-term goals and through never sacrificing his integrity or personality for any reason, whatsoever.  If you or someone you know is interested in buying, selling, renting, or investing in real estate, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Michael personally for a no-obligation assessment of your real estate needs.
