Endless Life Teas: Brewing Health, Culture, and Community in Every Cup

As a child, Yvonne Jones would enjoy seeing the steam from her mother’s tea, sometimes braided with ginger and lime, curled like silver tendrils toward the sky. Its aroma — fresh, earthy, and citrus-sharp — mingled with the scent of rich, sun-warmed soil. Growing up in Jamaica, health felt ancient and sacred, brewed in clay pots with hands that knew the land. Each sip of tea held a whisper of wisdom, a promise from the earth itself — more potent than anything sealed in a plastic bottle.

“My mother always had us drink teas when we were children,” said Yvonne Jones. “It was a cure for fevers, tummy aches, and more. In 2000, I had breast cancer, and I became more health conscious from natural remedies. Lesson learned, I changed my life, and went back to my roots with my mother having teas and I decided to look into it more and share it with people.”

Whether it’s breast cancer or another illness, hospital visits, the invasive treatments, the side effects that leave people both physically and emotionally drained—they all seemed to blur into a monotony of survival. What began as a simple recommendation from her mother and Caribbean culture grew into a daily ritual—an intimate moment of solace that connected her to something beyond the sterile walls of her medical appointments.

The teas became more than just a comfort; they became a form of empowerment.

“I was looking for herbal substitutes and being more conscious of what I was putting in my body,” said Jones. “In 2017, we started as a hobby and we’d sell teas to some church members, cultural festivals, and we put everything in teabags for people to try.”

Now, Yvonne Jones of Endless Life Teas has grown her business and Endless Life Teas is a family-owned, Black-owned business born from the heart and heritage of a passionate woman entrepreneur in vibrant Miami, Florida. Rooted in cultural tradition and driven by a deep commitment to well-being, they cultivate and craft tea blends that honor the wisdom of the past while nurturing the health of the present.

Their teas are lovingly prepared from homegrown moringa leaves—often called the “miracle tree” for its nourishing properties—and soursop leaves, cherished for their wellness benefits. Each blend is a testament to their dedication to authenticity, capturing the essence of ancestral practices while embracing a modern, mindful lifestyle.

“We blend them with spices, and it doesn’t have that super earthy taste,” said Jones. “And people will say they’re good.”

At Endless Life Teas, they don’t just brew beverages; they steep stories of heritage, healing, and hope. With every cup, they invite you to savor the richness of culture, experience the power of nature, and sip your way to a healthier, more vibrant life.

“Moringa leaves, the seeds, the flowers, and people may not know that even though it looks like a throwaway part of the tree they can still benefit you as far as nutrition, mood, sleep, cancer-fighting properties, and more,” said Jones. “Hibiscus, which is usually used for sorel during Christmas time, we sell all year round because it’s beneficial for hypertension, helps build your immune system, and our teas have multiple benefits that most people don’t think about.”

Endless Life Teas is sourced from local farmers, like lemon grass and soursop, along with some ginger and turmeric from Jamaica, India, and their personal backyard.

“We want everyone to take, enjoy, and partake in our teas,” said Jones. “That’s our goal. Also, social media has really educated people on what’s out there and what the benefits are of what’s out there. Seeing social media posts on moringa, or even a moringa vending machine, is letting people outside the culture learn more of what else is out there.”

Endless Life Teas will also sell where stalls line a cobblestone path, each a vibrant canvas of color — crimson tomatoes with glistening dew, leafy greens bursting with life, and bushels of apples polished to a natural sheen. Where vendors wear warm smiles, their hands sometimes stained from the soil of their labor. Unlike the sterile, fluorescent aisles of corporate grocery chains, this market is alive. There’s no soulless packaging or overpriced ‘organic’ labels — just authenticity and passion. You see the farmers’ faces, hear the pride in their voices, and witness the love poured into each product.

“People talk to us, ask questions, and it feels more personal at places like at a farmer’s market,” said Jones. “We’re not going to just add anything to our products like preservatives because we’re natural. The shelf-life might be stronger, but you’re getting the real deal pure stuff.”

As a family-owned company, they also travel to other locations like the Yellow Green Farmers Market every weekend, at New York’s Black Veg Fest, Pembroke Pines’ Caribbean American Festival, and in California, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.

They offer free samples of their healthiest and most popular flavors. The Soursop Lemongrass is their most popular and Moringa Cinnamon Hibiscus. As you take a sip, the flavor is both soothing and energizing—a balance of the bold, peppery ginger cutting through the leafy, slightly nutty essence of moringa.

Or the first sip is a zesty wake-up call—a splash of tart lemon that dances on your taste buds, lifted by the refreshing green of moringa.

“The ginger we have during winter because it’s good for the immune system,” said Yvonne Houston, daughter and member of Endless Life Teas. Mint is very refreshing and light, especially during the summer.”

Endless Life Teas is also known for experimenting with bold, unique flavors like Soursop Lavender Chamomile, a surprising blend that balances the tropical creaminess of Soursop, the floral essence of lavender, and a touch of sweet, chamomile. Each flavor is crafted to awaken the senses, offering something innovative and memorable for those seeking a taste adventure.

“Creating new blends is also really fun and it’s the fun side of the business,” said Houston. “We’re always trying to evolve the business and really putting in the groundwork.”

All of these teas share one thing in common — the way they leave one utterly satisfied, like a comforting embrace. Each sip is a small escape, a moment of indulgence that soothes, refreshes, and delights. These teas are more than just beverages; they’re experiences meant to be savored, cherished, and shared.

“We work as a family,” said Houston. “It’s me and also my two brothers, and my mom. We’re always bouncing ideas off each other because four heads are better than one. This is our culture and something that has changed not only my mom’s life but so many others. We just want to continue that and spark joy, laugh, take pictures with customers, and make people healthier and feel good.”
