Miami Worldcenter Celebrates Star-Studded Grand Opening in Downtown Miami

Miami Worldcenter hosted a star-studded celebration to mark its grand opening as Downtown Miami’s newest lifestyle, retail, dining, and entertainment destination. Thousands turned out for a high-energy evening headlined by global superstar DJ Alesso and Shaggy, and a special performance of “God Bless the U.S.A.” by Grammy award-winning country artist Lee Greenwood.

The celebration featured remarks from Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Former Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, and Miami Worldcenter’s development team – including Art Falcone, Nitin Motwani, and CIM Group’s Ryan Harter – who reflected on the project’s impact on Downtown Miami’s growth and revitalization over the last two decades.

Spanning 10 city blocks, the 27-acre, $6 billion project marks the second-largest urban mixed-use development in the U.S., redefining Downtown Miami with a vibrant mix of retail, dining, luxury residences, hospitality, entertainment, and public spaces.
