Once nestled in Coconut Creek, ‘If The Horseshoe Fits’ was a charming horse property and stable run by Jennifer Fitzgerald and her husband. A peaceful haven of white-fenced pastures, shady oaks, hay-scented mornings, and hoofbeats echoing through warm Florida days. But after selling the beloved property for a sprawling ranch, the couple kept the name, holding on to its spirit. One quiet day, tea in hand and the sign nearby for ‘If The Horseshoe Fits,’ Jennifer Fitzgerald had an idea. A lover of herbs and healing, she smiled at the serendipity and launched a new wellness venture called ‘If The Herb Fitz’—a brand of hand-crafted teas, botanical blends, and wellness rituals designed to bring balance to body and mind. From saddles to sage leaves, Jennifer’s journey became a testament to intuition, reinvention, and the magic that happens when you follow the signs—sometimes quite literally.
“I knew I had to get better and healthier,” said Fitzgerald. “I started growing my own food, researching medicine, and had to take care of myself and three kids. It started with my family during Covid, but I wanted to share this with other people.”
In her early twenties, Jennifer Fitzgerald was burning the candle at both ends and was working long, exhausting shifts behind a bar. She was living off unhealthy foods, had sluggish eyes, constant bloat, and a fog she couldn’t shake. She realized this wasn’t just burnout, but it was her body waving a white flag.
Desperate for a shift, she stepped into ‘Crunch Gym’, instead of seeing intimidating machines and being afraid of sculpted strangers, she found another step in her health journey. The treadmill became like her therapist, the weights her release, and the woman who once barely made it through a shift was now leading and inspiring others. Her dedication didn’t go unnoticed. She climbed her way up, eventually becoming the gym’s general manager, living proof that rock bottom can be the foundation of something powerful.

“I was running an indoor soccer arena bar next door to them,” said Fitzgerald. “While I was there, the owners of ‘Crunch Fitness’ next door would come in and have drinks. They already knew I was going there and it all came together. It was a short time in my life, but I had many jobs, even designing kitchens because my father worked constructions and I’d read his blueprints. But those blueprints helped me to view things from a birds-eye-view and see their lifestyle, situations, and see all the dots on how things come together and the bigger plan of things.”
Those overhead sketches gave her a bird’s-eye view of how something whole could rise from chaos, one detail at a time. Years later, that same perspective shaped how she viewed people’s lives. Not as broken, but as blueprints in progress. Health, like architecture, required vision, structure, and care. That belief became the foundation for ‘If The Herb Fitz’—a space where she could help others rebuild from the inside out, one healing sip and mindful moment at a time.
If The Herb Fitz is a soulful holistic wellness brand founded by Jennifer Fitzgerald, inspired by her own journey of transformation and healing. Blending nature’s wisdom with heartful intention, the brand offers artfully crafted herbal teas and natural remedies designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Every sip tells a story—of resilience, of self-discovery, of slowing down to listen to what your body truly needs. Rooted in the power of plants and rituals that restore, each blend is made with premium, purposeful ingredients to bring balance, clarity, and a sense of calm to your everyday rhythm. With If The Herb Fitz, wellness isn’t a trend, it’s a return to yourself.
“We had some damage to the ranch in 2021 because of Hurricane Ian,” she said. “But this led to me spending more times outdoors and learning and falling in love with nature.”

With each herb she snipped under the morning sun, Jennifer Fitzgerald wasn’t just gardening but she was planting the seeds of something soul-soothing. What began as a few homemade tea blends for loved ones blossomed into ‘If The Herb Fitz’, her passion project turned wellness brand.
Now, every hand-packed pouch tells a story of dedication, being all-natural, and the quiet magic of herbs. She believes true healing doesn’t always come in big moments. Sometimes, it starts with a warm mug, a deep breath, and the right blend of nature’s best.
“I developed five blends that help with physical ailment such as stamina,” she said. “So, instead of energy drinks, we have one tea with Beet Roots, and Angelica Root, which is also known to help with ADHD and ADD.”
Working with a therapist, she created tea blends like Anxiety Hex Tea for the nerves, Steady as We Go, which is for bipolar needs, and Conquer Fears Tea, which is to help with the nervous system.
“I even have a spiritual connection blend,” said Fitzgerald. “But Mind Over Gut is the most popular one. It cleans your digestion so your brain can function.”
In South Florida, Caribbean cultures dance through the street and function with flavor, music, warmth, and ancient traditions. Whether boiling bush leaves for colds, sipping cerasee for cleansing, or sharing soursop tea for sleep, every cup is a story, steeped in culture and healing.
“They grew up knowing herbs work and they really support me,” she said. “Even their doctors treat them with herbs before they do medication. Even Chinese medicine, and it’s something all around the world. It may be things that are unusual to the everyday American, but when you look at why they’re so healthy, happy, and out in the sun all day, you add up these cultures and see what they do, you see we have a disconnect to nature.”

Drawing inspiration from the rhythms, remedies, and radiant energy of Caribbean culture, Jennifer Fitzgerald has always believed in beauty that begins within. The warm teas she brews, the healing herbs she blends, and the rituals she shares through ‘If The Herb Fitz’ are all extensions of a deeper truth she lives by: real glow starts from the soul.
That belief followed her straight into the heart of Miami Swim Week, where neon lights shimmered off sun-kissed skin and runways pulsed with the beat of bass-heavy music. Models glided down the catwalk in flowing sarongs, glistening bikinis, and sheer kaftans that danced like seafoam with every step. The air was electric with style, sweat, and sea breeze. But while the world celebrated outer beauty, Jennifer Fitzgerald stood just beyond the flashing cameras with something radiant, grounded, and focused on something more.
She was there to remind everyone that confidence doesn’t come from couture alone but it’s brewed, nurtured, and felt deep within. Her presence wasn’t just part of the scene; it was a quiet revolution wrapped in herbal warmth.
“A company called Healerverse put that together,” she said. “It’s worldwide, and I did some speaking. It was about finding harmony by living in balance. We had a booth with tea and everything.
As ‘If The Herb Fitz’ continues to bloom, Jennifer is expanding her offerings beyond the runway crowd. Among her newest launches is a vibrant Kids Immunity Tea—a gentle blend made to support little immune systems and a kit to make your own cough syrup that’s natural with herbs, honey, and good for up to six months.
“Whether it was coming up with a name and being on our ranch property, I have a sense of hope,” said Fitzgerald. “How we feel, to how we think, connect, and grow all starts with your internal system and following the signs.”
